Robert Ellis calls this Glen-L 'Bojest' design LITEN TUT, which is Norwegian for Little Toot. It is 17'10" long with a beam just under 8 feet. Power comes from a Yanmar 1GMIO, 9.1-hp motor, which allows the boat to cruise at 7 knots.

Martin Mittag, founder of the Wooden Boat Workshop of Norwalk, CT sent in this picture of 7 kayaks built at his workshop, during a three week project in the summer of 2003.

On July 7, 2012, Oliver Ilg of Campinas, Sao Paulo, Brazil launched a 16′6″ Duck Trap Wherry. He writes, "Although not as perfect as I would like to have built it, she is not bad for a first glued-lapstrake project!" He built the hull from 6mm marine plywood made of rose cedar.

Joe Spadero constructed this Lawley yacht tender entirely of white cedar using traditional methods. The tender has a length just under 9' with a beam of 54." She weighs only 35 pounds. The plans are available from Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT.

David Calloway wrote that a couple of years ago, he was infected with the boatbuilding bug.  He spent many enjoyable hours looking for boats to build on the internet before he decided on Jim Michalak's QT design.

Tom Diehl launched CEPHEID on August 29, 2001 on Shabonna Lake in central Illinois. CEPHEID is an Arch Davis Sand Dollar design, 12' long. Tom built her of Okoume plywood, ash, oak, and mahogany, finished with epoxy. The spars are Sitka spruce.

My grandparents lived on a river in southern Alabama when I was growing up and my father taught me to row when I was maybe 6 or 7 years old. I did my first solo row in front of my grandparents' wharf at that young age.
