I built this kayak for my grandson, who loves to fish. So I built a fishing kayak, with retractable outriggers. The outriggers are stitch and glue, the kayak is plywood on frame.

Aubrey and her dad built this one sheet skiff for her vacation on a lake. It’s made with 1/4″ marine fir glassed with epoxy with cedar trim.

OTTER’s inspiration is Philip Theil’s Escargot. She is, however, greatly modified to an “egg crate” assembly using Stitch and Glue. I had never used this method, but am SOLD!With all the plywoods used being saturated with thinned epoxy, here’s hoping for a long lasting build....

Rick Hooper and Ann Marie Mozdziak designed and built this rowing skiff. Constructed of luan plywood and Douglas fir, WEHDGEE is 11' long with a 5' beam. She was launched on November 7, 2000 in Boca Ciega Bay, St Pete Beach, FL.
Alyssa Drake and her father, Peter Drake, built this Phil Bolger–designed 8′ Elegant Punt. They launched CHUPI at Mystic Seaport in the fall of 2011. Plans are available from Phil Bolger & Friends, Inc., P.O. Box 1209, Gloucester, MA 01930.
Alan Powell uses this 9' skiff for fishing and exploring the Berowra Waters on the Hawkesbury River, north of Sydney, Australia. She is a Karl Stambaugh "Weekend Skiff 3" design that appears in the book Good Skiffs.
LI’L BOAT was launched September 3, 2013 in Egg Harbor, WI. Hull was stripped planked using Atlantic White Cedar and sheathed in fiberglass cloth and epoxy. Transom, seats, and trim are Mahogany. Flooring is Cumaru and spars are Douglas Fir.
Built by owner in 2023 to lines and offsets in The Dory Book by John Gardner.
