The owner of this classic 30-ft Grandy, Jon Kjaerulff of Gig Harbor, Wash., took his Express Cruiser to Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard for a much-needed transom repair.
Irv, Murray, and Jan Herman adapted this 12' Whitehall from a 14' boat built at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in 1890, and launched in on May 6, 2001. The Howard Chapelle drawings are in the Smithsonian Institution Maritime collection, National Museum of American History, Washington, DC.
GRAVY is the first boat I’ve ever owned. I saw one of designer Berkeley Eastman’s micro tugs at the waterfront boat museum / restaurant at Disney Springs and fell in love. GRAVY is the Candu Junior model.
Roger McKay built this sprit-rigged, beach cruiser designed by Jordan Wood Boats of South Beach, Oregon. The Footloose design is 15'2" long with a 56" beam. Roger writes that the boat sails and motors well. He uses THE ARC on the Columbia River and in the lakes and bays near his home.
I was having difficulty getting out of my SOT kayak and needed a small skiff to row around the lake near my house. I wanted something I could put in the back of my S10 pickup, so I chose the Hannu 10 1/2 foot skiff.

This is a boat i just finished from Chesapeake Light Craft. It is the Mill Creek Hybrid, consisting of an okoume hull and cedar strip deck. The launch occurred yesterday at Seed Lake in the North Georgia mountains.
Adapted from Bear Mountain plans for the Ranger canoe, this skin on frame canoe was launched by the owner Hank Li in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Construction is yellow cedar stringers on ash frames and with a mix of ash and yellow cedar trim.
