Per Crawford writes "EVINRUDE was officially launched on January 12, 2003 into the Waccamaw River at sunset. Per Crawford designed and built the 13'6" Carolina Skiff of 1/4" marine plywood, stainless steel fastened with 6 oz. Fiberglass overlay using the west system.
This is the most recent of two Abenaki kits I have built (materials supplied by Newfound Woodworks of Bristol, NH). It was a joy to build and even more fun to paddle. My wife and I launched this canoe on Drakes Creek in Franklin, KY on October 10th, 2021. It tracked nicely was very stable.
John Gotjen of Chocorua, New Hampshire, took some time during the 2015 Christmas Holiday season to build this 6′ lapstrake skiff for his friend Frosty. CHOCORUA is built from 5/16″ underlayment plywood and luan plywood transom, and some leftover tubes of adhesive caulk.
She’s a light cedar strip solo canoe that will appeal to the paddling enthusiast that finds himself/herself without a partner for day trips, birdwatching, or the occasional overnighter.The canoe is light, stiff, easily driven and a joy to paddle.

I have had these Bolger plans for Diablo for 15 yrs. Originally I wanted to build it at the vocational high school where I was principal but that never happened. Then I wanted to build it in Biloxi, Ms while I was working there in 2009-20010.
John Jamieson worked for decades as a shipwright in Juneau, Alaska, before retiring to Kila, Montana. He now builds skiffs, kayaks, drift boats, and, with the arrival of a niece, cradle boats.
When he couldn't find exactly the boat he wanted, dave Edinburg designed his own. Using the lines of the International 505 as a starting point, John created the cold-molded CARIBE. He used two layers of 3mm okoume plywood for the planking over plywood frames.
