First Ever Launch of Two Kerry Rowing/Racing Boats on Irish Sea 27th September at East Wall Water Sports Centre.

This Atkinson Traveler, designed by Rollin Thurlow, was built by Otey Smith at the Northwoods Canoe Co. in Atkinson, ME, under the supervision of Rollin Thurlow and Peter Wallace.

After having some uneasy rows on the Strait of Georgia, I decided that a self-bailing sliding seat boat was required. I volunteered at the Coastal Rowing championships in 2018 and decided the coastal rowboat would be perfect.

This is a relaunching of my rowing skiff. Brass plate on transom states:John D. LittleBuilderOld Lyme, Ct.After researching, I believe him to be the same John D Little who moved from Connecticut to Maine and became somewhat famous for building catboats.

Randy Colker built this Harry Bryan-designed Wee Lassie for his wife, Shirley. She needed a boat light enough for her to move it to and from the water without assistance. As you can see here, she can move it easily, she can even lift it by herself.

Bob Elliott led seven students in the construction of this Merrimack Skiff built at Lowell's Boat Shop, Amesbury, Massachusetts during the winter of 2001. with a length of 13'3" and a beam of 2'6", the skiff is built of agathis planks riveted over sawn oak frames.

I started this boat by buying a load of rough cut northern white cedar from a small family run sawmill in Danville Vt.

Early September saw the launching of cedar strip planked Stand-Up-Paddleboard, designed and built by Andrew J. Malcomb of Dwarka Boatworks in Central Mass.
